The process of making art is a personal reflection for me. Most of my work is done from photographs I quickly snap in a passing moment, and as I paint I’m flooded with memories from those moments and the days in which they occurred. I often try to convey the emotions these memories evoke within me through the use of expressive mark making. The main goal of my work is to evoke the same emotions in the viewer, however the expressive nature of my work simply seeks to evoke any emotion and interpretation possible.
